Exciting news! The Teesside Family Foundation is overjoyed to announce our generous donation of £1000 to support an incredible initiative in Middlesbrough. In partnership with the Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out, we had an amazing opportunity to send 479 school children from Middlesbrough on an unforgettable adventure to Beamish Museum.
For many of these children, it was a big deal as they had never ventured beyond their local area before. It was an experience they’ll remember forever! At the Teesside Family Foundation, we believe in providing equal opportunities, especially for those from underprivileged areas.
Beamish Museum, located in County Durham, is a fascinating open-air museum that takes visitors on a journey through the region’s past. With its authentic Victorian and Edwardian-era exhibits, the museum offers an immersive and educational experience for people of all ages. The children had a blast riding vintage trams, exploring traditional shops and homes, and discovering the history of their region. It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and appreciation for the North East’s heritage.
The Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out were amazing coordinating and organising the trip, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for the children. Their dedication to empowering the younger generation is truly inspiring.
“Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary has been delighted to work alongside TTFF in providing funding to enable 479 children from inner Middlesbrough schools to enjoy an amazing day out at Beamish Museum. Our sincere thanks to TTFF and the Kidsout team for making this adventure possible” – Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary
