The Teesside Family Foundation had the pleasure of visiting Nigel Willis, owner of First Choice Labels in Redcar, who also happens to be an esteemed Erimus Charity Partner. This visit provided an opportunity to delve into Nigel’s business and discuss the positive impact he is making in our local community.
We firmly believe in the power of collaboration and the strength of partnerships. Nigel’s unwavering dedication and support over the last 6 years perfectly embody the spirit of giving back and making a difference. His involvement in our mission to uplift the lives of those in need is truly commendable, and we are incredibly grateful for his friendship and support.
At the Teesside Family Foundation, we strive to build a network of like-minded individuals and organisations who are passionate about creating positive change. Nigel’s involvement as an Erimus Charity Partner showcases the profound impact that can be achieved through collaborative efforts.

Exciting news! The Teesside Family Foundation is overjoyed to announce our generous donation of £1000 to support an incredible initiative in Middlesbrough. In partnership with the Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out, we had an amazing opportunity to send 479 school children from Middlesbrough on an unforgettable adventure to Beamish Museum.
For many of these children, it was a big deal as they had never ventured beyond their local area before. It was an experience they’ll remember forever! At the Teesside Family Foundation, we believe in providing equal opportunities, especially for those from underprivileged areas.
Beamish Museum, located in County Durham, is a fascinating open-air museum that takes visitors on a journey through the region’s past. With its authentic Victorian and Edwardian-era exhibits, the museum offers an immersive and educational experience for people of all ages. The children had a blast riding vintage trams, exploring traditional shops and homes, and discovering the history of their region. It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and appreciation for the North East’s heritage.
The Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out were amazing coordinating and organising the trip, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for the children. Their dedication to empowering the younger generation is truly inspiring.
“Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary has been delighted to work alongside TTFF in providing funding to enable 479 children from inner Middlesbrough schools to enjoy an amazing day out at Beamish Museum. Our sincere thanks to TTFF and the Kidsout team for making this adventure possible” – Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary
The Teesside Family Foundation is proud to have contributed to this incredible initiative. Through collaborative efforts and ongoing support, we are committed to creating positive change in our community. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore, learn, and create lasting memories. Together, we can continue making a difference.

In a celebration of self-care and community, the Teesside Family Foundation proudly funded a full marquee for an inspiring women’s only wellness gathering. This empowering event provided a nurturing space for women to prioritise their well-being and foster connections with like-minded individuals. The foundation was thrilled to support this transformative experience, creating a safe haven where women could explore various wellness practices and experience self-discovery.
The Teesside Family Foundation truly believes in the power of uplifting spaces for women. By supporting the marquee, we aimed to empower every participant, reminding them of their worth and the importance of self-love. It was like stepping into a haven where women could try out different wellness practices, have heart-to-heart conversations, and get inspired by other amazing ladies. Plus, it shielded everyone from the unpredictable weather—we didn’t want rain messing with their good vibes!
“To have a marquee at our not for profit ‘ WOW Gathering’ meant peace of mind whatever the weather we were literally ‘covered’. It was a very hot day so it provided shade and protection from the sun, a wind break and if it had rained, that too. Some women ran a variety of workshops in there providing some privacy and intimacy and was our central event hub. Thank you Tees, Family Foundation for your support. We are very grateful!” – Women Only Wellness
