Hartburn Grange Community Play Park Opening

Posted on: May 21st, 2024 by admin

Niall Innes, Local Councillor for Hartburn Ward and Richard Poole, Chair of Trustees from The Teesside Family Foundation joined us for a ceremonial ribbon cutting at our new play park at our Hartburn Grange development.

Attendees were able to enjoy an afternoon of free face painting and games and also had the opportunity to feast on sweet treats from a local dessert van.

The Hartburn Grange play park is designed for 2-6 year olds and includes animal-themed spring riders, as well as a set of swings and a slide.

We donated £500 to The Teesside Family foundation to support its charity’s essential services for local people. Its Chair of Trustees, Richard Poole, said:

“We are extremely grateful for the generous donation from Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire which will assist with the work we do throughout Teesside. Our charity aims to improve the quality of life of those in need, and we’re looking forward to seeing families in our network make use of the new local park.”

Nicki Hope, Interim Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire said: “There’s something for every little adventurer at the Hartburn Grange play park. It’s a space where children can explore, learn and make memories that will last a lifetime, and we hope it becomes a core part of the community in many years to come.”

Teesside Family Foundation Sends Middlesbrough School Children on an Unforgettable Trip to Beamish Museum!

Posted on: June 16th, 2023 by admin

Exciting news! The Teesside Family Foundation is overjoyed to announce our generous donation of £1000 to support an incredible initiative in Middlesbrough. In partnership with the Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out, we had an amazing opportunity to send 479 school children from Middlesbrough on an unforgettable adventure to Beamish Museum.

For many of these children, it was a big deal as they had never ventured beyond their local area before. It was an experience they’ll remember forever! At the Teesside Family Foundation, we believe in providing equal opportunities, especially for those from underprivileged areas.

Beamish Museum, located in County Durham, is a fascinating open-air museum that takes visitors on a journey through the region’s past. With its authentic Victorian and Edwardian-era exhibits, the museum offers an immersive and educational experience for people of all ages. The children had a blast riding vintage trams, exploring traditional shops and homes, and discovering the history of their region. It was a day filled with excitement, learning, and appreciation for the North East’s heritage.

The Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary Club and Rotakids Days Out were amazing coordinating and organising the trip, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for the children. Their dedication to empowering the younger generation is truly inspiring.

“Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary has been delighted to work alongside TTFF in providing funding to enable 479 children from inner Middlesbrough schools to enjoy an amazing day out at Beamish Museum. Our sincere thanks to TTFF and the Kidsout team for making this adventure possible” – Middlesbrough Erimus Rotary

The Teesside Family Foundation is proud to have contributed to this incredible initiative. Through collaborative efforts and ongoing support, we are committed to creating positive change in our community. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to explore, learn, and create lasting memories. Together, we can continue making a difference.
